At heart, Dani is a student of patterns. Whether he’s navigating a new city or breaking down a complex test question, he loves the process of figuring out the hidden logic behind how things work. To him, the SAT isn't a dry academic chore; it’s a live psychological puzzle.

The mindset took him from Duke to a math degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, but his real education came from spending over 10 years in the trenches with private students.

The inspiration for The Hidden Rep, though, comes from a more personal place. In high school, whenever Dani felt lost in AP Calculus, he relied on the free tutorials of a YouTuber named PatrickJMT. Those videos didn’t just provide answers; they offered a deep, satisfying "click" of clarity that the textbook couldn't match. That experience stuck with him. He built this curriculum to pay that debt forward—creating the kind of clear, generous resource he wishes he had back then.

When he’s not teaching, Dani chases energy. After calling NYC home for a decade, he now seeks that stimulation globally—from watching the World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina to working out on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. And when he finally sits still, he’s usually hanging out with his cat, Nube, or rooting (usually stressfully) for the Carolina Panthers.
